Join us in Chicago for a family weekend of museums, Chicago deep dish pizza, city attractions and more! We will be in the city by 10am on Saturday and likely wrap up by about 2pm Sunday the 24th. We will also be attending the Magnificent Mile Lights parade on the evening of Saturday, November 23rd! It will be a great family weekend and fun way to kick off the holiday season!

We will be rooted in the River North area for the night of the 23rd. While you may stay only for the day or join for the weekend or night - we will be recommending the Fairfield Inn & Suites at River North which runs at approximately $220 per night and is a great location near the Magnificent Mile.

There is no fee for this activity other than individual entrance fees and hotel / food costs for your family.

Overall, the weekend will be one for connection and fun attractions. Depending on our group - we can collectively survey / decide most favorited ones. The kids will also have fun just being together at the hotel, dinner, etc! As you might imagine, there are a LOT of museums in Chicago. We also have ice skating in Millennium Park and Museum of Contemporary Art that are closer. And, of course, the selfie style museums, ice cream museum, etc.
There is also the (free) Christkindl market opens that weekend if people are interested. They have crafts and hot chocolate and shops that people may want to explore if they don’t mind crowds.
Finally we will be going to the Magnificent Mile Lights Parade!
